The city of Wroclaw (Breslau) is building a new football stadium for the European Football Championship in Poland in 2012.

The new stadium will have a capacity of 42,771 spectators and will become the ground for the Polish first-division club Slask Wroclaw after the tournament. The external skin in the form of a net pattern around the entire circumference, and the oval shape of the roof are characteristic of the new stadium in Wroclaw. The stadium for the European Championship will be a symbol for the city of Wroclaw, with its distinctive form.
